Building structures · Europe · one contract
Steel structures for halls and industrial buildings, EN 1090 EXC2, erected.
Stratosteel delivers steel building structures under one contract: fabrication, delivery and erection on site. Portal frames, roof trusses, skylights, roofing, noise barriers and stairs. The assigned fabricating unit holds EN 1090 with execution class EXC2, which covers standard industrial halls and buildings. We name that unit, with its certificate, at qualification. One contract, one responsible party, from drawing to erected structure.
First technical answer within 48 hours. Firm quote in 3 to 7 working days once the fabricating unit is confirmed.
What we deliver
- Portal frames and primary hall structures
- Roof trusses and secondary structures
- Skylights and roofing
- Noise barrier walls
- Stairs, platforms and access structures
- Glazed facades and envelopes
Every item on this list is delivered as one scope: fabricated in the shop, transported, erected on site and handed over as a structure, not as a pile of members.

The execution class is set by your designer in the structural specification. We read it before we quote and we tell you which unit carries your structure before you order.
EN 1090-2
Execution class, stated honestly
The assigned unit is certified to EN 1090-2 execution class EXC2. EXC2 is the class specified for standard industrial halls and buildings under normal consequence class.
If your designer specifies EXC3, for bridges, fatigue-loaded members or structures above normal consequence class, the package routes to the EXC3 unit in our network instead. We tell you which unit carries your structure before you order, not after.
Why this page says EXC2 and our welded steel constructions page says EXC3: they are two different units doing two different classes of work. Machine frames, heavy weldments and the composite road bridge shown on that page are fabricated by a unit certified to EXC3. Standard halls and industrial buildings are fabricated and erected by a unit certified to EXC2. Same network, two certificates, each stated for the work it actually covers.
We do not claim a class we are not certified for. The execution class is set by your designer in the structural specification, not by us.
Erected, not just fabricated
Most steel suppliers hand you a structure on a truck. The assigned unit fabricates, delivers and erects on site. Completed building structures include a school, a medical centre, a hotel and an industrial facility: buildings that were finished, not just shipped.
What that means for you: one contract, one site team, one party that answers when the roof, the skylights and the stairs have to meet on the same day. Project references are shared at qualification together with the unit's certificate.
What this is not
Machine frames and equipment weldments are a different page. Those run to 10 t at the Slovak core and 64 t × 45 m through a certified partner, machined after welding. If your structure is part of a machine rather than a building, start there. Welded steel constructions →
Construction scope outside the steel, foundations, civil works and building services, stays with your contractor of record. We cover the steel structure: fabricated, delivered and erected.
What happens next
After you send the drawing.
First technical answer
An engineer replies with feasibility, the proposed route and open questions. Not an autoresponder.
Firm quote
Price, lead time, erection schedule. Issued once the fabricating unit is confirmed, so the number holds.
One responsibility
Fabrication, delivery and erection under one contract with Stratosteel s.r.o. The unit and its certificate are named at qualification.
Erected structure
The structure is erected and handed over on site, with the documentation for the package.
What we need from you: structural drawings or model, the structural specification with the execution class, site location and target date. What we do not do: quote blind, or claim a class the unit is not certified for. If the specification calls for a class the assigned unit does not hold, we say so in the first reply.
