The product
One European supplier. One purchase order. Castings, weldments and machining.
Stratosteel acts as the prime contractor and single point of accountability. Production is executed through our qualified Central European manufacturing network under one commercial, technical and quality-management system. We call this product ONE PO. You do not buy machine hours from us. You buy a finished casting, forging, weldment or machined part, delivered with its documentation, on one purchase order with one responsibility. We carry engineering, manufacture, verification and delivery across a certified European network. Send a drawing, an engineer answers within 48 hours with feasibility, route and questions.
The problem it removes
A heavy part crosses four trades. Someone must own the interfaces.
A buyer in heavy industry has three options. Contract four suppliers and carry four schedules, four quality interfaces and a four-way blame loop. Build capacity in-house and carry the capital. Or choose one contracting party that holds engineering, quality, schedule and responsibility. For heavy parts in Europe, the third option is what we sell.
Four suppliers
Foundry, forge, weld shop, machine shop. Every interface is your risk, every delay is your meeting.
Own capacity
Capital on your balance sheet, capacity you must keep loaded, trades you must hire.
ONE PO
One contract for the finished part. The interfaces are ours. The responsibility is ours.
What one purchase order covers
- One contract with Stratosteel s.r.o., one invoice, one confirmed date
- Engineering review of the drawing before anything is cut
- The manufacturing route: casting, forging, welding, machining, as the part needs
- Verification: certificates read line by line, parts measured independently
- Documentation: EN 10204 3.1 standard, 3.2 with named third party on request, CMM report, NDT protocols, heat treatment records
- One warranty holder and one addressee for any NCR
- Origin verified and disclosed per part. EU first. Where a non-EU route applies, we say so before you order.
Measurable properties
| First technical answer | within 48 hours: feasibility, route, questions |
|---|---|
| Firm quote | 3 to 7 working days once the production unit is confirmed |
| Documentation standard | EN 10204 3.1, option 3.2 with named third party |
| Third-party verification | named body per order, billed transparently |
| Entry path | pilot order on one part number, no framework required |
| Warranty | 24 months on weldments, contractual terms per order |
The producing plant confirms capacity and date before we confirm them to you. What your PO requires of us, our order requires of the plant.
Two honest limits
What one purchase order does not cover
Construction scope on site stays with a contractor of record. We cover the steel scope: parts, structures, machining, documentation. And we do not ask to be your single source on day one. The entry is a pilot order of low criticality. Scope grows with delivered performance, not with slides.
On partners: the material certificate always names the producing works, so we do not sell anonymity. We sell management. We manage the plants, audits at the producing works are arranged through us, and the full plant list with certificates is on the table at qualification.
What one PO looks like when it lands

Forming, joining, machining, packing: four steps, three pictures, four suppliers you did not have to find. On your side it is one purchase order, one quality owner, one delivery date.
What happens next
From drawing to delivered part.
First technical answer
An engineer replies with feasibility, the proposed process route and open questions. Not an autoresponder.
Firm quote
Price, lead time, documentation scope. Issued once the production unit is confirmed, so the number holds.
One responsibility
Manufacture, verification, documentation and delivery under one contract with Stratosteel s.r.o.
Verified part, full file
Certificates, CMM report, NDT protocols, traceability to heat number. Then we talk about the next part.
What we need from you: drawing, material, quantity, target date. What we do not do: quote blind, or start without an agreed documentation scope. Outside our envelope, we say so in the first reply. The full process →
Straight answers
Questions buyers ask before placing one order
Can one European supplier take responsibility for castings, weldments and machining on a single purchase order?
What exactly does one PO with Stratosteel cover?
Who actually makes the parts if Stratosteel owns no plants?
How is quality protected across plants we never see?
What documentation arrives with an ONE PO delivery?
What does ONE PO not include?
How do we start without risk?
One line to remember
The PO is paper. The delivery is metal. The responsibility is what we carry between them.
Every envelope behind this product is on the capability sheet, labeled demonstrated or qualified. Every claim of verification is explained on the verification page. Nothing here asks for your trust. It asks for one drawing.
