Stratosteel supplies CNC machined parts under one purchase order, one responsibility. The envelope runs from a 50 t workpiece down to a part that fits in your hand: 50 t static and 30 t rotary, vertical turning to ø 2 700 mm, deep drilling to ø 400 × 6 000 mm, then seven five-axis centres to IT6 at the precise end. From 1 piece to 4 000 pieces per batch, form-position 0.03 to 0.05 mm, CMM trace per batch on serial work. One PO can also cover the raw part: cast, forged or welded in the network to 50 t. No lower size limit. The defence program proves the small end. The 50 t workpiece envelope covers the top end. Same PO model at both ends.

Labels, because guessing is expensive: a demonstrated number is working in the network now and has paper behind it. A qualified number has a contracted route and no first piece under our PO yet. Both are honest. Only one is proven.

You choose where we enter: machine your supplied material or blank. Or one PO covers the raw part and the machining, cast, forged or welded in the network to 50 t. Delivered machined, documented, not raw.

Urgent capacity

The network runs with deliberate spare capacity. When a supplier fails mid-program, send the drawing and write URGENT in the subject. The 48 hour answer includes the earliest realistic slot.

What batch sizes do you machine, from one piece to what?

From 1 piece to 4 000 pieces per batch, demonstrated. Above 4 000 pieces is possible, but the added value falls, and we say so per drawing.

Is there a lower size limit for machined parts?

No. There is no lower size limit. A serial defence program runs at 10 000+ precision-machined units per year on five-axis centres to IT6, with a CMM trace per batch. Name under NDA, direct Stratosteel program. At the top end, the network machines workpieces to 50 t static and 30 t rotary.

What documentation comes with serial machined parts?

Yes. Send your castings, forgings, blanks or raw material and the network machines them to tolerance. Or one PO covers the raw part and the machining, cast, forged or welded in the network to 50 t. Delivered machined, documented, not raw.

What happens after we send a machined parts RFQ?

Within 48 hours an engineer sends the first technical answer: feasibility, proposed process route, open questions. The firm quote follows in 3 to 7 working days once the production unit is confirmed. Then one PO with Stratosteel covers machining, verification, documentation and delivery. We manage the plants. You audit through us.
